Waters We Become

Dominica is shaped by water. It sustains us, connects us, and at times undoes us. In Waters We Become, WAA artists trace our bond with rivers, seas and storms, and ask what it means to live with water rather than against it. Drawing on memory, myth and the realities of a changing island, these works invite you to listen closely and to see ourselves as part of a wider, shifting system of life.

The Anatomy of Self

Middle Passage Exhibition Room, Prevo Cinemall, Roseau

Who are we beneath the surface? The Anatomy of Self explores identity as layered and always evolving, shaped by memory, culture, belonging, loss and love. Through painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media and installation, the artists of WAA peel back the roles we perform to reveal what lies underneath.

WAA Home Base

Our first space is up, and the classes have already started. Every brush stroke, every build day, and every friend who shows up is turning a simple container into a home for Dominica’s artists.
