Omari Daryl James, known professionally as Avatar Omish, is a Dominican alternative rapper, singer, and songwriter best known for his fusion of emo rap, indie, rock and grunge music. Originally influenced by Christian rap, Omish found his passion for writing songs at the age of 14, writing numerous amateur rap songs and recording them on his phone until he later got a laptop and mic.

With a  natural affinity for rapping,  after a short while the young creative would then pivot into different styles of music, constantly trying out new genres on different songs in an attempt to explore his creative potential  Now as a way to put himself out there, he performed in an "NIPP Gospel "competition in 2022, "the riches karayib" competition  in 2023 and performed at numerous "lyrics under the star" shows. He released an EP called See Through Cup.
